WELCOME TO HONOLULU POST 1540

Veterans of Foreign Wars, Honolulu Post 1540

VFW Post 1540 is the oldest Post in existence in the State of Hawaii, having mustered on June 15, 1928. We are proud of our long heritage and many distinguished members to include the Honorable Senator Daniel K. Inouye, who was a Life Member of Post No. 1540 from 1994 to 2012.

Our Post meets at Sacred Hearts Academy in Kaimuki on the beautiful island of O'ahu.  We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

Our next regular in-person Post meeting will be held Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. As always, we will meet at Sacred Hearts Academy, 3253 Waialae Ave in the basement library.
