OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to foster camaraderie among United States Veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our Veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all Veterans.

MEETINGS

Our Post meets at Sacred Hearts Academy in Kaimuki on the beautiful island of O'ahu; our meeting is on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. We are the oldest VFW Post currently in existence in the State of Hawaii.

Buddy Poppies

We hand out Buddy Poppies several times annually. Please donate generously when we hand you one...all proceeds go to Veterans in need, Families, and Youth Scholarships. Stay tuned for dates and times!

Veteran Outreach

Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help. Contact us at vfw1540@gmail.com

Veterans of Foreign Wars Honolulu Post 1540
Our Post meets at Sacred Hearts Academy in Kaimuki on the beautiful island of O'ahu; our meeting is on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. We are the oldest VFW Post currently in existence in the State of Hawaii.
 
Our VFW Auxiliary is also very active and open to family members of veterans.
 
 
We also sponsor Buddy Poppies to assist Veterans in need.
