W. Gary Westernoff

Gary has been a member of Honolulu Post 1540 since May 2019. He became a legacy life member of the VFW in July 2022. He served as prior Post Commander from 2022 to 2023.
He served in Korea in the 8th Army and the 1st Cavalry Division’s 77th Field Artillery as a Forward Observer.
He is a semi-retired building construction executive and is extremely proud of serving as post commander, being associated with fellow VFW veterans, and of his military service.
